On Place, Culture and the Traces of Time

Through photography and writing, my work explores how the material traces of culture in streets, rituals, and everyday spaces, carry and reshape meaning as traditions and ways of life shift over time.

Pieces of mirror make the shapes of water droplets, with a face reflected in the mirrors.

Hi, I'm Kamsin

I'm a British photographer and writer based in Singapore. My work explores faith, material culture, and change.

I examine how belief is shaped by the places we inhabit, and how those places are reshaped by time. My work focuses on the remnants of belief, beauty and transition in nature, ritual, and the built environment.
