We live in a world that gets busier every day. The voices scream at us to do more and be more. But the things that really matter in life take time. There are no short cuts or life hacks on the journey to wholehearted living.

Writing well, mothering well, living well; they all take time.

When we slow down we learn to appreciate the little things, notice the beauty around us and live a more mindful and meaningful life. We grow impatient with small children who instinctively know how to do this. Really we need to learn from them.
